Hi, my name's Anali [Anna - Li]… but
most people call me Ani. I was born on December 13, 1983, in Australia
the same year my family arrived here from South America, Argentina.
I am 'the baby' of the family. I have two gorgeous
sisters and one remarkable brother, not to mention the 2 most
amazing parents ever, of course! Speaking only Spanish,
my entire family arrived here just 24 years ago; soon after, I
was born. I grew up knowing two great languages, Spanish and
English. For this, I am forever grateful! I feel I have been given
the best of both worlds. My background and culture is thickly
South American. And I must concede I do confuse myself as Argentinean
more than Australian sometimes! But in saying that, I wouldn't
give away my 'Aussie-ness', ever! I love this place!
I live in sunny Queensland... In a beautiful place
called the Gold Coast. I am blessed to live walking distance to
some of the worlds most beautiful beaches. I love
where I'm from and really couldn't wish to live anywhere better!
I have a great home with a big yard occupied with a number of
different fruit trees, plants and one, gigantic, pool. I love
nothing more than spending time in my garden, planting, swimming,
sun baking and playing with the two most amazing things in my
life… my dogs! I own two of the most gorgeous, human like,
Chihuahua's ever!
They may weigh less than 2 kilos, but they are by far the biggest things in my life. Their love and intelligence brightens my days and puts a smile on my face!
I have an unlimited and unconditional love for animals
and will do anything I can for a creature in need. This often
finds my house full with strange guests of every kind, and finds
my time constantly taken up for some very important animal causes!
I really couldn't want it any other way!
Soon I begin my course in Animal studies.
It's a different avenue from my previous study in Psychology,
however one that seems inevitable. I haven't yet decided if animals
are the way to my future career, but I do know that I want to
learn as much as I can in order to provide the best help and care
to animals everywhere. I volunteer my time for shelters and rescues
around the area and hope that my study will not only bring me
closer to understanding and helping animals but help me enter
employment within an animal organization or veterinary practice.
Besides the part of my life I like to dedicate to animals I am also very interested in a career in human studies / social sciences.
Another huge interest to me is working in television, film, or photographic modeling. I also do some photographic work for clothing, hair and make up shoots. I have featured in a few magazines, posters and billboards. I really do hope to be given the chance to really apply myself within the film, fashion, photography industry in order to gain some more great experience and help me really kick start the modeling / acting side of my life.
