Nikki Gertsch
I am a local girl born and raised by my mother in the lower mainland. I have two brothers, one older and one younger. Our many pets include some of the most beautiful and wonderful cats you would ever see.
During my school years I was in the school choir, track & field, took many dance, swimming and skating classes, played baseball, hockey and volleyball and was also a Girl Guide. I really didn’t know what I wanted to do so I tried a little bit of everything. The one thing I have always doing and still do it to get all dressed up and poses for the camera. Even as a young child I had a lot of style, great fashion sense and always loved trying new looks.
Since the day I decided to pursue this career, I worked very hard so I could graduate from high school early and get on with what I really wanted to do and I succeeded. My academic strengths were in the business & marketing department where I was one of the managers of “Impulse”, the school store we opened and operated. In my last couple of years of high school I had very little free time. I was busy taking courses on Sunday’s and four nights a week, to achieve my Diploma’s in Acting, Modeling, Makeup and Hair Artistry.
I can be a little shy when I first meet people but that doesn’t usually last long. Getting involved in acting/modeling has helped me become a much stronger, confident and assertive person. I have been very fortunate and I would like to thank all of my family members, friends and the special people who have loved, helped, and supported me through out the years. Without all their wonderful support, mentorship and encouragement, I would not be the well-rounded person I am today. I am and I will continue reaching for my dreams and adding to my achievements.
My mom/manager and I are always out looking for work and ways to further my career on a professional level. I take my work very seriously and you will find me to be a very professional person to work with. Your emails or calls will be answered promptly and I will always come fully prepared and on time for all assignments.
I am totally dedicated to being the best Model/Actor/Makeup Artist that I can be. When I am not looking for model/acting work I am looking for way’s to better myself in all aspects of the industry. Currently I am attending another fulltime Performance Art Diploma program. I know that in the near future I will achieve my dream and will have a very successful fulltime career as a Model/Actor.
