Tooba Siddiqui, born in 1984, is one of Pakistan's models who belongs to the younger lot yet has acclaimed enough fame to make her a household name.

Siddiqui started out with a video for Yasir Akhtar (Pakistani pop singer) just when she was 18. The video got her some fame but not enough. It wasnt until a year later when designer Nomi Ansari gave Tooba a chance when Tooba really got the attention of people.

Nomi Ansari gave Siddiqui a chance with his fall collection and Siddiqui proved that she could handle the business of modeling very well. Her photoshoots were fantastic and her attitude towards modeling was strong and positive. For a model who had never worked before Tooba proved to be extremely professional which gave her an edge over other models new in the business. Tooba soon became the fair and lovely girl.

The skin care company Fair and Lovely decided to give Siddiqui a shot and pretty soon Tooba's face was on every TV screen in every home in Pakistan. Fair and Lovely really helped boost Tooba's career as she became noticeable and grabbed the attention of many big shots in the fashion industry. What brought Tooba more fame was her tiff with the famous stylist Tariq Amin who has worked for big names like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Tooba got into a fight with Tariq Amin, the incident was reported in every big magazine and got Tooba tons of publicity.

Siddiqui was being interviewed on every TV channel and by every Magazine. Following Tooba's conflict with Tariq Amin was Tooba's conflict with Top International Model Iraj Mansoor on a show in Singapore. This incident also increased Tooba's reputation. Tooba decided to try her hand at acting and succeeded very well. She broke the stereotype that Models cant act when she starred in her first TV movie Saahil (Sea Side) in which she played a girl in love with her father's friend visiting from the UK.

Soon Siddiqui was casted for Mien Aur Tum (You and Me) a very famous Sitcom. After that Tooba began to act in Series like "Vanee" along with incredibly big names in Pakistan Television like Bushra Ansari and Saba Hameed. Tooba also did a Period Series based on the occurrences after the partition of India and Pakistan. Tooba delivered an excellent performance in that series and proved her self as an actress. Tooba worked in many other dramas including the mega hit Koi Tou Barish, Samaj, Mamla and many more.

Currently Siddiqui is also working on a film. Tooba did not forget modeling, she kept in touch with it, winning her the Lux 2006 best Model award. Tooba has modeled for many big names in Pakistan like Sonya Batla, Deepak Perwani, Mehdi, Umar Sayeed and Banto Kazmi. Tooba proved that she could also work on a international level when she modeled for Armani and that led her to work with Prada which was always her dream.
