Inna Zobova

Inna Zobova, born on June 28, 1976, in Kimsky, Russia, is a supermodel.

Zobova was born with a hole in her heart, and at age six underwent surgery to correct it. Later on, she attended the University of Moscow and studied psychology and anthropology. She modeled on the side for extra money.

In 1994, Zobova was crowned Miss Russia. She went on the compete in the Miss Universe pageant where she came in third in the National Costume competition. She would've also advanced to the semifinals if it wasn't for a noticeably low score in the preliminary Evening Gown competition that bumped her down to #12, just outside of the Top 10.  

Zobova walked many shows for Ready-to-Wear and Haute Couture, combined during the New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks. She walked for Armani, Thierry Mugler, Valentino, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, Balenciaga, Hanae Mori, Marc Jacobs, Nina Ricci, Hermes, Sonia Rykiel, Kenzo, Givenchy, Dries Van Noten, Vivienne Westwood, Christian Lacroix.

Zobova has appeared in advertisements for Hermes, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdales, Penny Black, Roberto Cavalli, Dana Buchman, Armani, Christian Dior, Comma, Laurel, M&F Girbaud, La City, l’Oréal, Guerlain, Marella, Malizia, Lancaster, Burberry, Lancôme, Zappa, Nivea, Galeries Lafayette, Piper Heidsieck.

Zobova has been on the covers of most of the main fashion magazines around the globe like, Allure, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Amica, Femme, Glamour, l'Officiel and international editions of Vogue, as well as style and lifestyle publications like i-D, GQ, Dutch. She has also been featured in broader market publications such as Paris Match, Hello, Gala, Figaro, Max, Le Nouvel Obs. In 2001, she ranked #51 in GQ's 200 Sexiest Women in the world and in 2002, she ranked #105 in The Glamour Girls Hot 500.

In August 2002, Zobova was selected among over 600 models and became the new spokesmodel for Wonderbra. Her dynamic nature and her charismatic beauty convinced Playtex executives that she was the ideal person to promote the company's product line. Following in the footsteps of Adriana Karembeu (Sklenarikova) and Eva Herzigova, she is now a bona fide supermodel.

Since 2004, Zobova's also the new face and of the international brand Sephora In 2004, she received the "Top Model of the year" Award at the "Marie Claire Fashion award" In 2005, she was in the top 20 of the most beautiful women of the world (GQ)
