Salma Hayek's baby joy
Salma Hayek has given birth to a girl.

The 'Ugly Betty' producer and her businessman fiancé François Henri Pinault welcomed daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault into the world on Friday (21.09.07).

Salma's publicist Cari Ross said: "Mother and daughter are doing well."

No other information about the birth has been released.

This is Salma's first child, while Pinault has two children from a previous marriage that ended in 2004.

Salma, 41, was secretly dating the wealthy Frenchman - who is the chief executive of PPR, the company that owns Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent and a series of other French retail chains - before she announced her engagement and confirmed she was expecting his baby in March.

Earlier this year, Salma revealed she had no fears about becoming a mother and insisted she was glad she hadn't rushed into starting a family.

The stunning brunette said: "Motherhood is not for everyone. It is for me, but there's no reason women should feel rushed to have a child."

"Embarrassed" Hudgens Pulls Out of Talk Show Appearance
Disgraced High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens pulled out of her appearance on Thursday night's The Tonight Show in America in the wake of her nude photo scandal.

The pretty teenager hit the headlines after confirming she posed for saucy snapshots intended only for the eyes of boyfriend and co-star Zac Efron The camera phone pictures fell into the hands of a third party, who went public with the sexy images, placing them on select websites.

In a statement released last week, the actress said, "I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends." But she no longer wants to talk about the controversy, and pulled out of her appearance on The Tonight Show on Thursday afternoon.

A representative for the late-night chat show said, "Vanessa is no longer appearing on Thursday's Tonight Show due to a scheduling conflict. She will be rescheduling her appearance at a later date."

Hudgens Wins Disney Backing
Bosses at Disney film studios have dismissed reports they have dropped High School Musical 2 actress Vanessa Anne Hudgens following the circulation of nude photographs of the star online.

The 18-year-old's candid mirror-image shots were intended for her boyfriend and High School Musical co-star Zac Efron's eyes only - but an unknown third party stole the pictures and placed one on the internet.

Disney studios were then alleged to be firing Hudgens over the snaps, because the scandal had tarnished the teen's squeaky-clean image.

But a representative for the company has denied the incident will have repercussions on future casting decisions, and insists Hudgens' apology to fans on Friday proved her remorse. The spokesperson says, "Vanessa has apologized for what was obviously a lapse in judgment."

Nadine Coyle's no to nudity
Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle thinks naked bodies are ugly.

The sexy pop star would never strip off for a magazine because she thinks nudity is "not beautiful".

Nadine told Q magazine: "I would never get my kit off for Playboy magazine. It's so degrading. The naked body is not beautiful, male or female. The suggestion of naked is nice, but not nude. I'd never do it for any price."

Despite her dislike of naked bodies, Nadine has never considered having plastic surgery.

She said: "Apart from hairspray and fake tan none of us in Girls Aloud have added anything. I suppose it's flattering that some people think we might have done, but we haven't."

Nadine, who split from 'Desperate Housewives' actor Jesse Metcalfe earlier this year, denied reports they have rekindled their romance, insisting they are just good friends.

She said: "I haven't really contemplated getting back together with him.

"He's gorgeous and charming and beautiful but I'm always all over the place so it's hard to have a relationship.

"He's that bit older than me - he's 29 and I'm 21 so we want different things. We always got on really, really well and I loved him a lot, but it just became difficult to stay together."

Halle Berry Confirms Pregnancy
Oscar winner Halle Berry has confirmed she's three months pregnant with her first child. The actress sent Nancy O'Dell, a TV news anchor, an email to confirm the good news she's expecting boyfriend Gabriel Aubry's child.

New mom O'Dell broke the news on TV show Access Hollywood on Tuesday - hours after reports spread that Berry's baby had halted production on the set of her new film Tulia.

In the email, Berry wrote, "Yes, I am three months pregnant! Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I've waited a long time for this moment in life.

Now the next seven months will be the longest of my life... You heard it from ME first!" Thrilled O'Dell, who became a first-time mom earlier this summer says, "I am beyond ecstatic for my friend Halle!

I told her she is about to embark on the best time of her life! She is such a sweet person... so genuine... and therefore, will make an incredible mom. And can you imagine how gorgeous this baby is gonna be! Halle sent me the most adorable bunch of clothes for my new baby... I can't wait to do the same for her."
