Shetty: "Gere Calls Me Twice a Day"
Richard Gere has been calling Indian actress Shilpa Shetty twice a day to make sure she is coping with the scandal surrounding their public kiss.

The actor embraced Shetty on TV during an AIDS awareness event in Delhi last month, causing uproar in conservative India, where a warrant was later issued for Gere's arrest.

The Chicago star has since apologized for the impromptu kiss, but he's still worried about the problems his actions have caused the Bollywood beauty.

Shetty says, "He was so worried about me, he called me every day - sometimes twice! It was mortifying for him to have hit the headlines over something like this, but he was so generous about it all and kept calling me to make sure I was alright. He was genuinely very concerned about me. That is the kind of man he is."

The parents of British model KELLY BROOK were furious when they found out their daughter was dating American actor BILLY ZANE.

Brooks, who met Zane on the set of flop film Survival Island (Three), admits it's taken her family a while to warm up to her Titanic star husband-to-be.

The 27-year-old says, "At first, my parents were furious that I was seeing Billy. Their reaction was 'Oh no. Why? The leading man? God Kelly, how predictable.' "They were reading newspapers and seeing us gallivanting around and they'd say, 'What are you doing? You don't even know him.' "They weren't excited at all. They were concerned, worried and scared for me.

"It has taken them a couple of years for them to get to know Billy, to come around to him."

Asia Wins The Search for the Next Doll
In case you missed it, Asia Nitollano is the winner of The Search for the Next Doll.

The teenage mom from Mount Vernon, New York beat contestants Chelsea and Melissa Reyes on the show's final episode Tuesday night (April 24, 2007).

The judges agreed that Asia was the best overall performer, even though she wasn't the best vocalist.

Asia is now an official member of the hit pop group Pussycat Dolls. She performed with the group for the first time during the finale.

Jennifer Garner pregnant again?
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are expecting their second child, it has been claimed.

The 'Catch and Release' actress was reportedly seen leaving a doctor's office sporting a clearly visible baby bump.

A source told New Weekly magazine: "She was very happy and glowing. She touched her stomach for a moment. She looked pregnant."

The couple - who have a 16-month-old daughter Violet - are said to be "thrilled" with the news.

A second source said: "They were hoping to have another baby fairly soon so that Violet would have a sibling to grow up with.

"She's an affectionate, happy child. Jen thinks she'll love being a big sister."

This week Jennifer, who turned 35 yesterday (April 17, 2007), visited the construction site of the $12.1 million Los Angeles mansion she and Ben, 35, are having built.

The brunette was checking on the progress of the project, prompting speculation she is keen for it to be ready in time for the new arrival.

Jennifer recently admitted she was "intoxicated with love" for her daughter and has often said she would like more children.

She revealed to Live magazine's Louise Gannon: "I'm not averse to being tied up in silk scarves. I like a man to take charge. There's something very sexy about being submissive."

The 32-year-old actress also revealed she regularly has Brazilian bikini waxes because she only ever wears G-Strings.

She added: "Every girl should have a Brazilian wax. It's my sexy secret. And I only ever wear thongs. I don't own a pair of knickers with a proper back to them."

Although Eva is seven years older then her fiancé, she claims she prefers older men.

She revealed: "I like a man with maturity. Wisdom and experience are very sexy to a woman."

Eva also hates men being obvious when they flirt with her.

She said: "There is such a thing as a bad chat-up line - and they've all been tried out on me. The least sexy thing a man can do is whistle at a girl in the street or cat call at them.

"It's so unsexy, so uncool. If I see any builders working in a street I'll turn right round and walk in a different direction. I hate all that shouting and whistling."
