BIOGRAPHY Mía Maestro, born on June 19, 1978, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is an Argentine actress.
Her mother was an economist and her father a businessman. At the age of 18 she moved to Berlin to be trained as a classical music vocalist. There she also learned the Brechtian acting technique as well as dance. At age 20 Maestro returned to Buenos Aires. Maestro made her screen debut in Carlos Saura's Academy Award nominated film, Tango. Maestro originally met with Alias's producer J. J. Abrams in relation to the show Alias. She ended up getting the part of Nadia Santos in Season 4 of the drama. She then had a recurring role in the program's 5th season. In December 2005, she starred in Prince's music video for "Te Amo Corazón" which was directed by her friend Salma Hayek.
In 2001, Maestro was ranked #61 in Stuff's 100 Sexiest Women. Also in 2001, she ranked #67 in Maxim's 100 Sexiest Women. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California. View GALLERY:
