Julie Marie Berman, born on November 3, 1983, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress.

This young actress has been supported by her parents, Peter and Reneé Berman since she started acting at the age of 6.

Early in her career, Berman appeared in over 100 different commercials before she made her breakthrough passage into television on the hit show 7th Heaven, as the misunderstood Shelby Connor, a friend of Lucy Camden's.

Berman continued her role on 7th Heaven, while adding a recurring role on Once and Again, too. (Vanished Without a Trace and Remembering Charlie).

Berman joined the hit ABC soap "General Hospital" in October of 2005 as Lulu Spencer the stubborn, troubled daughter of Luke & Laura. She has quickly become a favorite with fans and critics and earned her first Daytime Emmy nomination in 2007.

Previously Berman was involved in a story where she schemed and lied to win the affections of her crush and good friend Dillon Quartermaine by breaking up his marriage to the love of his life Georgie Jones. She ended up losing her virginity to him and became pregnant. She eventually had an abortion despite Dillon (and his family's) desire to do otherwise. While the story did drag on a little longer than many fans desired Berman's acting was praised by both fans, co-stars, and critics.

Currently her character is keeping a major paternity secret from her brother Lucky Spencer, mistakenly thinking that it is in his best interest to never know the truth. Berman is also involved in a complicated romantic situation with three young men vying for her affection. She however only views them as friends, with two of them (Spinelli and Dillon) being people who she sees as very good friends but does not have romantic feelings for and there also is a budding romance between her and the new character of Logan.

In addition to her acting career Berman also received a degree in Television & Cinema from the University of Southern California in May of 2006.
